A data scientist is someone who makes value out of data. Such a person proactively fetches information from various sources and analyzes it for a better understanding of how the business performs, and to build AI tools that automate certain processes within the company.

At least one programming language — R/ Python
Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading.
Data Wrangling and Data Exploration.
Machine Learning Algorithms.
Advanced Machine Learning (Deep Learning)
Big Data Processing Frameworks.
Data Visualization.

These all skills seem difficult at first if you see them all at once but start slow learn one at a time and take time start with basic maths skills and with your programming language of you choose and it will help you a lot and move further start will small project read blogs and tutorial there are many available from free on the internet. there are many courses that are also free.
